The source repeatedly ties system behavior to outlet context and role-based permissions, making outlet and access management one of the central organizing concepts in Nutapos (source: data-source.md).

Outlet as the main operating boundary

Many workflows in both Android and Nutacloud are outlet-scoped. Users often select an outlet before seeing or editing products, customers, promos, purchases, reports, tablet users, or stock data. For non-owner users, outlet visibility is restricted according to assigned permissions (source: data-source.md).

Outlet lifecycle

On Android, outlet operation begins with buka outlet and ends with tutup outlet, including opening cash, shift summary, drawer reconciliation, and post-close logout (source: data-source.md).

In Nutacloud, outlets have states such as trial, active, and expired, with related end dates shown in the outlet list (source: data-source.md).

Access control model

The document describes permissions at several levels:

  • cloud-user access to Nutacloud menus and outlet scope (source: data-source.md)
  • app-user access to operational functions such as cashier, product creation, report access, delete operations, and stock functions (source: data-source.md)
  • owner-only control over staff and user-tablet management in several sections (source: data-source.md)

This suggests a layered access model: company-level user identity, outlet scope, and per-feature permissions.

Staff and tablet users

Backoffice users can manage two important user classes:

  • Staf, which are additional cloud users with configurable Nutacloud access and outlet access (source: data-source.md)
  • User Tablet, which are outlet app users with detailed operational permissions (source: data-source.md)

On the Android side, login/logout of app users is separate from the cloud-account linkage used to connect the outlet to Nutacloud (source: data-source.md).

Copy and multi-outlet administration

The source includes the ability to copy data from one outlet to another, covering entities such as items, categories, products, ingredients, extra choices, discounts, taxes, sales types, customers, tables, and suppliers (source: data-source.md).

This is important because it shows the system is designed for multi-outlet businesses that want to reuse configuration rather than manage each outlet manually from scratch.

Subscription and billing

The source includes dedicated Nutapos subscription pages, subscription history, invoices, and outlet activation states. This indicates outlet lifecycle is linked not just to configuration and access but also to commercial status (source: data-source.md).

Payment-digital activation

A later section also describes digital-payment activation at the outlet level, including activation state, prerequisite checks, outlet eligibility, and internal customer service workflows (source: data-source.md).
